Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Fest!

World Pumpkin Capital of Half Moon Bay Pays Homage to the Great and Almighty Gourd

44th Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, October 18-19
Official Pumpkin Festival Mascot “Gourdy” and Craft Cocktails Debut at America’s Fall Classic

Every year when autumn rolls around, picturesque Half Moon Bay bursts into a brilliant sea of orange and buzzes with excitement and activity to celebrate its bountiful fall harvest. The dazzling journey is its own reward … the tunnel through Devils Slide is a sight to behold plus the breath-taking views of seaside farm country dotted with vast, rolling fields of orange, scarecrows, barns, and pick-your-own pumpkin patches.

Plum Blossom Farm will be in booth space #216, which is on Main Street near Correas.   This festival is always crowded but so much fun and worth the traffic!  I am really looking forward to it.  Hope to see you there!

Napa Artisans Fair Canceled

I’m sure as most of you are aware Napa County suffered a 6.0 earthquake recently.  It caused extensive damage to the town of Napa and will take a long time to rehab some areas.

Unfortunately the city of Napa has decided to cancel the upcoming Napa Artisans Fair that was supposed to take place this coming Saturday, September 6.  The merchants and the city were hoping that the fair could go on to draw in tourists and let the public know that it’s business as usual.  But upon further inspection the street damage was too bad to allow for vendor or visitor safety so the fair has been canceled.

I wish the lovely town of Napa the best a speedy recovery.  I do still plan to be at the Gifts N Tyme fair there in November.
